Because Icelandic sheep are one of the oldest and purest domestic breads their skins differ from most other breeds in the world today. They are essentially a primitive breed showing many characteristics of a wild sheep. Their fleece is a mixture of very short and very long hair that comes in a variety plain, speckles and patchy colours.

Our Icelandic sheepskins are Eco Friendly, totally natural un-dyed skins, because the skins have had no peroxide or other colour enhancing chemicals the natural fleece colour is the colour you take delivery of. This skin is approximately 110cm x 70cm (3ft 6in x 2ft 4in) coloured in a combination of Natural Black and White
