A Flatweave rug commonly doesn't float everyone's boat simply because they are rather thin and offer very little underfoot luxury. The do however have several benefits; they have fantastic interwoven textures tend to be ultra resilient, they are really easy to maintain and will not show wear like normal rugs do. This makes both rugs and carpet runners the the ideal partner for locations like kitchen areas, hallways and conservatories, basically any area which can be be subject to heavy traffic, dirty feet and the like.
With that said some of the appealing patterns along with designs weave concepts ensure they are ideal for other areas of the home such a lounge or bedrooms. They also do a good job of utilizing the look of flatwoven Kilim mats (blanket style rugs) but because the construction of the flatweave is a woven Wilton the finished production is significantly stiffer, therefore much less most likely to move and curl.
